40×40 Direct
Ideal for spanning skylights

With only a few components, this system can easily be fixed directly into the trapezoidal sheeting to create a secure and simple mounting system for the modules.
Mounting clips hook into the side channels of the mounting rail, with each clip connected to the roof securely by a self-drilling screw.
Each stainless steel, self-drilling screw achieves 1.1kN minimum uplift resistance from 0.5mm steel. This means that fewer screws are needed within your project compared to similar products on the market.
We use EPDM to cushion the mounting rail against the roof, which creates a separation layer between the different materials and avoids any chemical reactions from occurring. Click here to read more about bi-metal corrosion and the importance of separating materials.
With its 650kPa tensile strength and its high performance in resisting UV, we use the EPDM for a secondary purpose to provide a weatherproof seal around the fixings.
With a maximum span of 1.6m, our 40×40 mounting rail profile is ideal for spanning the width of most skylights. This means that the solar modules can be installed safely over skylights with the mounting rail taking their weight and pressure, which avoids any disturbance to the skylight itself.
